Le président de la République a réclamé mercredi au gouvernement ‘’un rapport détaillé’’ de l’exécution du Programme décennal de lutte contre les inondations durant la période 2012-2022.
‘’Le chef de l’Etat a (…) demandé au ministre de l’Eau et de l’Assainissement (…) de lui soumettre un rapport détaillé sur l’état de mise en œuvre du Programme décennal de lutte contre les inondations sur la période 2012-2022’’, lit-on dans le communiqué du conseil des ministres. Selon le texte, Macky Sall a également demandé au même ministre ‘’d’intensifier, à l’échelle du territoire national, l’exécution de la matrice d’actions prioritaires adoptées pour faire face aux inondations au titre de l’année 2020’’. De même a-t-il recommandé aux ministres concernés par les inondations ‘’d’accorder une priorité spéciale à la restructuration et à la rénovation des quartiers inondables, notamment ceux de Kaolack, Saint-Louis, Kaffrine, Ziguinchor, Guédiawaye et Pikine’’. Il veut que cela soit fait ‘’en relation avec les maires des communes’’ concernées.
